These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of IndexSprint, operated at indexsprint.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
IndexSprint is a web application that converts a book's table of contents into a structured reading plan. The Service includes a free tier (ToC parsing, editing, and Markdown export) and a paid Premium tier (plan saving, progress tracking, focus timer, AI-generated study prompts, and spaced repetition scheduling).
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You may create an account using email/password, Google OAuth, or GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the Service in a way that threatens its stability or security.

The free tier does not require account creation. No credit card is required. The free tier is subject to rate limits to prevent abuse.
Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription. Prices are listed on our Pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Payment is processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Dodo Payments' terms of service.
We may offer free trial periods at our discretion. At the end of a trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
Refund requests are handled by Dodo Payments in accordance with their refund policy. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@indexsprint.com within 14 days of the charge.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including pasted table of contents text, reflections, and reading plan customizations. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and display it solely to provide the Service to you.
Table of contents data parsed by the Service may be cached to improve performance for other users. Cached data consists only of structural information (chapter titles, hierarchy, and page numbers) and does not include the substantive content of any book. If you are a copyright holder and believe cached data infringes your rights, please see our DMCA process in the Privacy Policy.
Retrieval prompts generated by the AI feature are created for your personal study use. You may use, modify, and share these prompts freely. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content. However, AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may contain inaccuracies.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by IndexSprint and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
The Service integrates with third-party providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms:
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IndexSprint and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IndexSprint and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. For significant changes affecting your rights or payment obligations, we will provide 30 days' notice by email to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IndexSprint regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
